Brennan Potts

Brennan Potts is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Accelerate, where he is responsible for setting the firm’s vision, building culture, stewarding investor relationships, and directing overall corporate strategy.

Over the course of his career, Brennan has executed more than 500 land and real estate transactions across the energy and infrastructure sectors, supported by $1.8 billion in combined commitments from a global institutional investor base.

Prior to founding Accelerate in 2015, Brennan focused on business development and land acquisitions, holding roles with several private and private-equity-backed companies in the oil and natural gas industry.

Brennan is a proven entrepreneur who has founded and grown multiple businesses across the energy, infrastructure, and real assets sectors. His work has earned national recognition, including being named to Forbes 30 Under 30 (2014), Oil and Gas Investor’s 30 Under 40 (2017), and as a finalist for EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year Southwest (2021). Under his leadership, Accelerate Resources was also named to the Inc. 5000 list in 2021.

Brennan holds a BBA in Real Estate from Baylor University. In addition to his role at Accelerate, he currently serves as Co-Founder and Board Member of Ultra Minerals; as a Board Member of ClearGen, a CBRE IM portfolio company focused on distributed generation investments; and as a Board Member of Neverthirst, a global clean water organization.
