(Press Release) Accelerate, a forward-thinking platform investing in the future of energy and infrastructure, announced today that Tyler Levy has joined the company’s leadership team as a partner and general counsel.

Leveraging his extensive experience in complex real estate transactions, Tyler is responsible for legal strategy, compliance and risk mitigation.

Tyler comes to Accelerate from Crowdstreet, Inc., a real estate fin-tech company, where he served as associate general counsel and chief compliance officer of CrowdStreet’s registered investment adviser and flagship 40’ Act registered non-traded REIT. While at CrowdStreet, he worked on more than 200 private funds that raised more than $1.5 billion in investor capital.

Previously he served as seconded counsel to a Texas-based homebuilder, where he handled all corporate, real estate, litigation and finance matters, and as an associate with international law firm Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP, where he focused on real estate and complex commercial litigation.

Tyler is based at Accelerate’s Plano, Texas headquarters.
