Lease Monetization

Lease monetization is the process by which a property owner converts future lease payments into immediate capital, typically by selling the underlying real property interest or lease rights to an investor in exchange for an upfront payment. Owners of cell tower, billboard, solar, wind, or other infrastructure leases may pursue lease monetization to unlock the present value of that income stream.
