Duties & Responsibilities
The following are general responsibilities that demonstrate what you may expect day-to-day in this role.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing data-driven strategies that align with Accelerate’s goals and objectives
- Creating and maintaining the Accelerate’s data infrastructure, ensuring that it is secure, scalable, and easily accessible to relevant stakeholders
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address data-related challenges and opportunities
- Conducting comprehensive analyses of complex data sets and communicating key insights and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders
- Developing and maintaining data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of organizational data
- Managing relationships with external partners, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure the organization has access to the data it needs to achieve its goals
Tactical Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a certified ODS layer to support external reporting with the appropriate level of controls, security, and accessibility
- Utilize Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) tool(s) to populate data into a reporting database
- In close partnership with Sr. Salesforce Administrator, ensure most efficient data management processes are in place and monitored
- Develop and maintain data management continuity of business processes
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Competencies & Qualifications
Required
- Proficient in statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualization techniques
- Deep expertise of SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages used for data analysis
- Proven experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL tools/processes
- Strong understanding of data quality management principles and best practices
- Moderate experience with data governance and regulatory compliance requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate complex data insights and findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about data-driven solutions
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- A strong sense of curiosity and a willingness to learn new technologies and techniques as needed
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as statistics, computer science, or data science
Preferred
- Familiarity with Alteryx Server/Alteryx Designer
- Experience in project management, including scoping, planning, and execution of data analysis projects
- Experience with Agile and/or other SDLC approaches
- Experience with Spotfire Desktop or Cloud, or Tableau
- Familiar with Salesforce Dashboard Capabilities/Limits
