 Job Summary

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for all accounting functions, including general ledger reconciliations, preparation of journal entries, variance analysis and research, and preparation of financial statements for multiple entities.

Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting to Chief Accounting Officer & Treasurer, the following is a list of general responsibilities that demonstrate what you may expect in this role:

  • Prepare all journal entries for multiple entities and prepare monthly financial statements
  • Prepare weekly working capital reports
  • Prepare monthly budget-to-actual reports and research variances
  • Assist in quarterly capital call-to-actual reconciliations, with research into variances as needed
  • Oversight of bank balances and upcoming cash needs and maintaining general ledger bank accounts
  • Setup of all wire payments, assuring accurate input of routing and account numbers
  • Verbally confirm wire instructions on upcoming acquisitions
  • Act as main liaison with auditors, coordinate timing of field work, and provide all information as requested
  • Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasting
  • Special projects, as assigned

Competencies & Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in a full cycle accounting environment (required)
  • Experience with Wolfepak Software or similar accounting software
  • General accounting knowledge
  • CPA (preferred)
