Salesforce Administrator

This position is part of the team which oversees asset management, reporting, and business development activities for Accelerate. Our Salesforce Administrator will continuously improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback, designing scalable best-practice solutions, and managing all aspects of user management including support tickets, training, and designing solutions with priority emphasis given to business goals and user satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

The following is a list of general responsibilities that demonstrate what you may expect day-to-day in this role. Even if you don’t have experience with 100% of these activities, we still want to hear from you – we are willing to train the right candidate on our systems and processes. 

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Data visualization and reporting
  • Plan and organize, using customer journey methodology to define objects and/or integrations to enhance sales/marketing efforts
  • Research, validate, and recommend solutions and integrations to continually improve the performance of our Salesforce instance

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Hands on development in all areas of Salesforce with a focus on Sales Cloud capabilities covering Account, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, and Case Management across both Classic and Lightning
  • Establish and maintain relationships with business teams
  • Represent the needs of the business, function, or geography during implementation of new capabilities in Salesforce
  • Actively participate in IT projects where Salesforce integrates and is either upstream or downstream to other applications and take care of the required changes to ensure that business process is supported
  • Maintenance, troubleshooting and correction of existing functionality including programmatic and declarative processes

Competencies & Qualifications

  • Team oriented personality with ability to work with different types of expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or IT (course work and/or equivalent work experience will also be considered)
  • Six or more years of experience developing on the Salesforce platform
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator certification highly desired, but not required
  • Trailblazer rank of Ranger or better preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred, but not required
  • Desire to learn and innovate across our Salesforce instance to improve company efficiency
  • No travel is required
