Job Summary

The Acquisition Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining their own new business portfolio which requires the ability to effectively manage and convert those relationships into new acquisitions for the company. Relationships will be established and cultivated with property owners across the U.S.  The ideal candidate will be experienced in business origination – favorably, with a background in finance and/or real estate.

Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting to Vice President of Originations, the following is a list of general responsibilities that demonstrate what you may expect day-to-day in this role:

  • Initiate a high volume of phone calls per week to property owners and real estate professionals
  • Effective communication daily with property/landowners and team members (i.e., phone, email, etc.)
  • Facilitate direct business origination opportunities
  • Explore & identify key transaction attributes
  • Work closely with landowners to discuss their portfolios in a consultative manner
  • Specialize in income producing real property investments and acquisitions
  • Gather market intelligence

Competencies & Qualifications (desired, but not required)

  • 1-3 years of experience as a new business originator or sales representative
  • Experienced with Salesforce and Salesforce Sales Cloud
  • Knowledge of wireless & billboard industries and utility-scale wind and solar projects
  • Willing to travel as needed
  • Leasing and real estate contract knowledge
  • General finance knowledge
